Meet Dorothy Lucey

Dorothy Lucey is the founder of Lucey Financial Group, where she combines her passion for business, finance, and entrepreneurship to support small businesses, entrepreneurs, and creative professionals.

Her entrepreneurial journey began at a young age, starting her first business ventures at just 10 years old selling products at school. From an early age, Dorothy developed a strong passion for business, organization, and building meaningful client relationships.

In addition to her financial background, Dorothy has been a dedicated cellist for over 18 years, performing with numerous orchestras and managing her own private music studio and performance schedule. Through her experience in the arts, she gained firsthand insight into the financial and operational challenges faced by self-employed professionals and creatives.

While attending college, Dorothy interned with Moss Adams in tax services and later with PwC within Asset & Wealth Management Audit, where she ultimately accepted a full-time position. Her experience working with major organizations provided her with a strong foundation in accounting, financial reporting, business operations, and client service.

Driven by her entrepreneurial spirit and desire to provide more personalized financial support, Dorothy later founded Lucey Financial Group to help businesses stay organized, tax-ready, and financially confident. Today, the firm proudly serves a wide range of businesses and professionals with bookkeeping, tax, and financial solutions tailored to their unique needs.
